Environmental Education Conservation Corps

A limited number of YouthBuild students may qualify for the Environmental Education Conservation Corps program. The EECC is a hands-on environmental education and career readiness program that engages young adults in meaningful projects while building workforce skills for the green job sector. Guided by the Roots of Success curriculum, Conservation Corps members will gain knowledge and experience in a wide breadth of fields, with concentration on the following areas of work: Landscape, Water, Agriculture, Waste Renewal, Remediation and Sustainability. Participation in the Corps will prepare students for entry into careers that create a healthier, more beautiful, and sustainable community.
Students will earn:

  • Roots of Success: Environmental Educator Certificate
  • Landscaping PACT (Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training) Certification
  • Weatherization PACT Certification
  • GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) Certification
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • HAZMAT Certification
